“As a group, we apply our entrepreneurial expertise in pursuit of significant returns and long term value.”
Established in 2000
Floreat, in its previous format, was established in 2000 with a discretionary mandate to invest in private equity and real estate. Since then, the group has developed and transitioned into a 'seed and lead'-type model, seeding new third-party investments and funds and then exclusively distributing them to our network.
In 2013, the Floreat platform was restructured to cater for our increasing needs, in the form of six distinct business lines, five investment funds, and three investment managers.
Philanthropy & Art
We apply our investment values to our philanthropic strategy. We act responsibly, and take a long term view. As such, Floreat supports a number of children's charities; investing in the next generation.
Floreat are proud to be long term supporters of The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts, a charity that engages with disadvantaged children nationwide who do not have access to high-quality arts activity because of either social or economic barriers. In 2014, Floreat hosted a contemporary art auction in aid of Children & the Arts, sourcing over 100 pieces of art and raising £240,000 for the charity.
Floreat also supports Children in Crisis, a UK charity who give children in some of the world’s poorest countries the education they need to help transform their lives. Furthermore, we support Hands up for Syria, helping displaced Syrian children get back into education.
Alongside our own charitable work, we work closely with clients on their philanthropic strategies.
